Today is the day we have to say goodbye to our friends at The Good Place. While nothing will ever feel quite the same as the four seasons we spent Kristen Bell and the gang, we can at least help this impending show hole out with these other fun shows about the afterlife.
iZombie
iZombie made it five seasons and comes from the mind of Rob Thomas (the creator of Veronica Mars not the lead singer of Matchbox Twenty). After being turned into a zombie while attending a boat party (like you do) Olivia “Liv” Moore (Rose McIver) learns to live. She breaks up with her fiancé and drops out of her medical program. She then picks up a job in the morgue so she can still feed on brains without having to kill people for food. She discovers that eating brains also helps allows her to assist the police in catching whoever murdered the person due to flashbacks she gets from eating the victims’ brains. iZombie proves that even in the afterlife, it’s all about those side gigs.
